UEFA Champions League 2024-25 Prediction Game Competition Terms and Conditions

1. General

1.1 By entering the UEFA Champions League 2024-25 Prediction Game Competition (the "Competition"), you (the "Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 The Competition is organized by Monkey Bytes AS, org. number 812607022, Bergen, Norway ("Organizer").

1.3 The Competition is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary to participate.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participants must be 13 years of age or older at the time of entry.

2.2 Participants can only participate with one account. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who uses multiple accounts to enter the Competition and void any prize won by such Participant.

3. How to Enter

3.1 Participants must submit their predictions for UEFA Champions League 2024-25 through the designated platform, www.ggmonkey.com, provided by the Organizer.

3.2 The Participant with the most points at the end of the Competition will be declared the winner.

4. Determination of Winner

4.1 In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined in the following order of priority:

  • The Participant who correctly predicts the winner of UEFA Champions League 2024-25.
  • If still tied, the Participant who correctly predicts the top goal scorer of UEFA Champions League 2024-25.
  • If still tied, the Participant who has the most correct table positions in the group stage.
  • If still tied, the Participant who has the most correct teams in the Final 16.
  • If still tied, the Participant with the most points in the Bonus questions.
  • If still tied, the winner will be decided by a lottery with an equal amount of winning chance.

5. Prize

5.1 The prize includes:

  • Round-trip flights for two persons from Copenhagen to the city where the group stage match of World Cup 2026 will be played. The Organizer reserves the right to choose the airlines and flight routes.
  • Hotel accommodation for two persons for three nights in the city where the group stage match will be played. The Organizer reserves the right to choose the hotel.
  • Two tickets to a group stage match of World Cup 2026. The Organizer reserves the right to choose the match, but the winners can express their preferences. However, the Organizer does not guarantee that the winners will get tickets to their preferred match.

5.2 The winner can choose to extend their stay beyond the three nights at their own expense. The Organizer will not cover the cost of accommodation for any additional nights.

5.3 It is the Participant's responsibility to ensure they are allowed entry to the country where the match is to be played and that they are allowed to travel. If it appears that the winner cannot make a lawful entry to the country, the prize will be forfeited.

5.4 Should the Participant not want to make use of the prize/travel, the winner can exchange the prize for €2000 paid via bank transfer within 60 days of the request being made. The request to take cash instead must be made before 31.12.2025.

5.5 It is not possible to transfer or sell the prize.

6. Notification and Claiming of Prize

6.1 The winner will be notified by email or through the platform used to enter the Competition within [number] days of the Competition ending.

6.2 The winner must respond within 21 days to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within this period, the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternative winner based on the criteria outlined in section 4.

7. Publicity

7.1 By participating in the Competition, Participants agree that the Organizer may use their name, photograph, and likeness in any media, worldwide, for publicity purposes related to the Competition and subsequent announcements of the winners, without additional compensation or prior notice.

8. General Conditions

8.1 The Organizer's decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Competition.

8.2 By participating, Participants agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from participation in the Competition or the acceptance, receipt, possession, or misuse of any prize.

9. Privacy

9.1 Any personal data collected during the course of the Competition will be processed in accordance with the Organizer's Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, and any disputes arising from the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
